Upper school students spend one week each March exploring the world outside of the classroom during Project Week. Students can choose to learn about literature, art, technology, or the Civil Rights movements, participate in community service or outdoor education, travel the world, or get to know their city in a new way.
Middle school students spend a week in April engaged in their own project-based experiences. Fifth and seventh graders stay in town, but get out of the classroom. Sixth and eight graders explore our state capital and nation's capital, respectively.
I was fortunate enough to go to Jordan. It allowed me to see the world from a new perspective. Hearing their issues and their stories really just opened my eyes to a lot of things.

Nurtured in the classroom and through a rich variety of co-curriculars, students’ global competencies are enhanced by Project Week and a Global Experience Program that focuses on exchange opportunities, language immersion programs, and international partnerships.

There are so many experiences I would not have had if it weren't for the financial aid program at Latin - like Project Week. I never once felt different than any other student here because I was able to do everything the other students do.
Started in 1972, P-Week is an opportunity for upper school students to get out of the classroom on a variety of local, national and international learning adventures. It takes place in March. Middle school also has a long standing P-Week tradition which takes place in late April.
